🐶 Fiat Punto 1.8 Hgt Review

The car concerned is a 2002 Punto HGT 1.8 16v Euro 3 spec (has pre-cats in down pipe and 3 sensors). I have read various posts on this forum discussing the possibility of resetting a Punto HGT ECU from home however there is no specific way stated on the forum for the full process. Is there a I know nothing about cars except how to drive them. I'm looking for a new car at the minute and spotted a nice looking 05 punto 1.8 hgt. I figured where Hi folks Don't often come to this bit of the forum but I find myself doing a cambelt and variator change on an '02 Punto 1.8 HGT. The procedure seems all OK (I've done quite a few other Fiats now, generally 500s, Pandas, older Lampredi-based engines (e.g. Bravo/Brava 1600), and Alfa 1750 TBi - Pratola engine so similar architecture). Nope, when I had 1.8 HGT long time age I was frustrated with fuel consumption because the 5 gears were short ratio and screaming at 70mph, I was thought of fit six speed gear at that time I did not find any other Fiat spec six gearbox would fit to this. I went for 1.9 HGT because of the long gear ratio, 70MPH at 2,100 rpm. Nov 9, 2007. #1.
